Geoff has worked as an in-house patent attorney in a research and development group for one of the world’s top patent filing companies. While working closely with inventors and business stakeholders, Geoff developed and managed patent portfolios as well as carried out global patent prosecution. During this time he worked with various technologies such as user interfaces, image processing, machine learning, video coding, print rendering, display rendering, software, data processing and medical imaging.

Before moving into Intellectual Property, Geoff worked on electrical systems, including user interface system for mining and materials handling equipment. He also worked on vehicle tracking systems as well as software and communication systems for a number of traffic and plant management systems for road projects in Australia.
