She believes her understanding of both mechanical and electrical systems aid her in seeking protection for engineering ideas. Her industry experience includes an honours project on a machine learning near field localisation approach.
Cecily worked for several years as a Student Systems Engineer at Bosch, gaining valuable experience on a large scale automotive electronics project.
Through acting as IP Coordinator in this role, she discovered a passion for the protection of ideas and assisted inventors in obtaining and securing patents ranging from agricultural sensors to near field localisation systems and advanced manufacturing devices.
Cecily is currently continuing her education journey towards registration as a Patent Attorney and is a member of the Mechanical Group at DCC.
