The minimum of information needed to effect filing, and gain a valid filing date, is the following:
For all cases:
- Soft copy of signed POA
- Soft copy of signed Deed of Assignment
For Convention cases:
- Applicant(s) name, nationality and address
- Inventor(s) name, nationality and address
- Priority particulars
- Certified copy of Priority document (in English)
For National Phase cases:
- Copy of published PCT specification
- Copy of PCT Request
For a national phase entry from a published PCT application, with no changes to the above details, the PCT application/publication number is sufficient.

Trade Marks - Filing Requirements
The minimum information required to file a trade mark application is as follows:
- Name of Applicant
- Address of Applicant
- Citizenship / Country of Incorporation of Applicant
- The mark to be filed (specimen of the mark in jpeg format for device marks)
- Details of colour claim, if any
- The classes and specification of goods and services in English
Additional requirements to claim priority: Country, trade mark number and application date of priority application.
- Original notarised Power of Attorney
- Original certified priority document (if applicable)
