Davies Collison Cave was a sponsor of this event which attracted 115 attendees. The event held at the Small Technologies Cluster in Scoresby, Melbourne was well received by attendees. Guest speakers were; Professor Ian Gentle, Head of Science, Australian Synchrotron and Professor Ian Boyd, Director, Melbourne Centre for Nano Fabrication. The speakers discussed “Clayton’s Marriage between Science and Research”. Ian Gentle, provided examples of the work undertaken at the Synchrotron, whilst Ian Boyd spoke about the launch of the new Nano Fabrication Centre on 2 March and its operation.
The event was attended by Julian Curwen, Richard Brown, Edith Hamilton, Rob Finn and Sam Mickan.
