Davies Collison Cave (DCC) are pleased to announce that we have been awarded Patent Firm of the Year at the 11th Asia IP Awards for the Australia jurisdiction. This follows our 2019 award from Asia IP for Trademark Firm of the Year.
The Asia IP Awards recognise the very best law firms from around the Asia-Pacific for their work in copyright, trademarks and patents over the year. A two-stage process determines the winners, starting with a submission of key details for a chosen case from the last 12 months. These submissions are shortlisted by a panel of judges. Firms who successfully progress from the first round are then ranked by thousands of corporate counsels worldwide, who are active in protecting their intellectual assets in the Asia-Pacific region.
“We are delighted to be chosen as the Australian Patent Firm of the Year in the 2020 Asia IP Awards,” said David Webber, Managing Principal – Patents. “In a year like no other, we wish to acknowledge and thank all of our people for pivoting so smoothly while continuing to deliver timely, proactive and commercial advice to support our clients. Recognition such as this further cements our belief that our people are the core of our success. We also thank Asia IP for their acknowledgment of the work we do.”
DCC greatly appreciate this recognition from Asia IP and look forward to continuing to set this high standard for our sector. We are proud to be the largest patent and trademark attorney firm in Australia and one of the leading intellectual property firms in the country.
