DCC Sydney: Innovation Series luncheons connecting people & ideas

Davies Collison Cave is a sponsor of the Innovation Series which will host three luncheons in 2010. The Innovation Series is about “connecting people to ideas and ideas to people” and showcasing keynote speakers who represent organisations at the forefront of innovation research and the latest in technology developments. The luncheons are growing in popularity with 134 attendees at our recent event. The topic for the luncheon was “Australian Medical Innovations – Achieving Global Success” and the speakers were; Dr Peter Farrell, Executive Chairman, ResMed and Mel Bridges, Chairman and Founder, ImpediMed. The lunches continue to attract high profile speakers who are at the cutting edge in their respective disciplines and continue to deliver thought provoking presentations.
The event was attended by Gavin Recchia, Chris Carter, Damon Henshaw, Maryam Khajeh and Andrew Caska.
The next Sydney event is scheduled for Wednesday 23 June. The event will be held at the Westin Hotel in Sydney and the topic of the event is: Material Science Technologies – Improving Business Performance. Keynote speakers at the event will be: Dr Calum Drummond, Chief of CSIRO Industrial Physics, CSIRO Material Science & Engineering and Dr Adrian Paterson, Chief Executive Officer, ANSTO.
