$6.5M in Victorian nanotech grants announced – Small Technologies Industry Uptake Program (STIUP)

The Victorian Government has just announced $6.5 million dollars in funding for the Small Technologies Industry Uptake Program, giving Victorian businesses vouchers that can be exchanged for access to small technology and nanotechnology facilities and expertise, including legal advice on patenting matters and other intellectual property services.

The voucher categories include:

  • Small Technology Feasibility (STFeas) vouchers of up to $10,000 for small technology feasibility scoping;
  • Small Technology Technical (STTech) vouchers of up to $50,000 towards demonstration of small technology products and services; and
  • Small Technology Trial (STTrial) vouchers up to $250,000 for prototype development and pilot trials of small technologies.
