Davies Collison Cave recently sponsored the BioMelbourne Network BioBreakfast. The breakfast theme: The WEHI Journey: Its history and vision for the future. The guest speaker, Professor Doug Hilton was appointed as the 6th Director of WEHI in March 2009. After his first year as Director, Professor Hilton shared his vision for the Institute and where he sees the Institute’s position both in Australia and in the worldwide research community. Professor Hilton outlined the significant changes in attitude he has witnessed both at WEHI and in many other research institutes over the last decade. He also discussed the strategy of collaborating with partners that have world’s best practice which is proving to be a highly successful model. Tania Obranovich a partner of Davies Collison Cave delivered the vote of thanks on behalf of the firm.
