World leading ranking for DCC and its Patent Practitioners
Davies Collison Cave is proud to maintain its position as the leading Intellectual Property firm in Australia for another year.
In May, Intellectual Asset Management (IAM) produced the IAM Patent 1000: The World’s Leading Patent Practitioners 2013 Guide. The guide identifies the top patent practitioners in key jurisdictions around the globe and DCC has been acknowledge as a ‘highly recommended firm in Australia’ for Patent prosecution and ranked highly for IP litigation in Australia. Many of the firm’s partners were recommended as leading individuals in their field, and as stated in the IAM 1000 guide:
“IP specialist Davies Collison Cave is tipped as “the top all-around IP service provider”. Its “indisputably gold-standard” prosecution practice and technical expertise are complemented by a sterling contentious track record, which includes some of Australia’s most hotly contested disputes. Group head and “iconic figure” David Webber has total command of even the most complex issues, while “excellent” litigator Ian Pascarl earns kudos as a “shrewd tactician”. On the prosecution front, Richard Brown is an acclaimed information and communication technology authority, while “chemistry and pharmaceuticals extraordinaire” Michael Caine is a “fine, commercially minded strategist”. Bill Pickering brings “keen insight” to his biotechnology practice. The venerable Richard Jarvis and Rodney De Boos are the “elder statesmen” of the market, whose well-informed advice is invaluable on thorny matters.”
We would like to congratulate our partners acknowledged in the guide and thank all of our clients and staff for helping us achieve these global accolades for the second year running.
