Benita’s practice is focused on trade marks, domain names and geographical indications, and includes:
• Conducting clearance searches for brand owners (from MNCs to government agencies to early adopters of emerging technologies) and providing practical advice on risk management.
• Working with brand owners to develop protection strategies and overcome obstacles to registration.
• Acting in contentious proceedings as well as exploring alternatives to public and costly litigation.
While Benita is based in Davies Collison Cave’s Singapore office, she works very closely with her colleagues across all offices and applies this multi-jurisdictional experience in problem-solving.
