Dario graduated in Chemical Engineering and holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering. Dario gained significant post-doctoral research experience in Australia, having worked for the CSIRO, the University of Melbourne, and Swinburne University of Technology. He has acquired extensive professional exposure to a diverse range of fields, including materials synthesis and engineering, industrial process engineering and development, advanced materials, polymers and nanotechnology for sustainable energy, and energy storage.
Dario assists clients in maximising Intellectual Property protection across a range of technical areas, including battery technology and battery recycling processes, energy storage devices, carbon capture, photovoltaics, Sol-Gel, coatings, ore extraction and processing for mining, rare earth-related technologies, explosives, soil remediation processes and plants, graphene/carbon-related technologies, glass, ceramics, Metal-Organic Frameworks, alloy processing and corrosion protection technologies.
Dario’s practice embraces Australian and overseas patent prosecution, as well as contentious opposition matters at the Australian Patent Office and European Patent Office.
