Jessica joined DCC in August 2021 as a Trade Mark Attorney. Prior to joining DCC, Jessica worked in the trade marks team at a leading Australian intellectual property firm in Melbourne where she completed her trade mark studies in 2019 and won the Inaugural Trade Mark Prize 2019 issued by The Institute of Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys of Australia (IPTA) in the same year.

Jessica has experience handling a variety of trade mark matters in Australia, New Zealand and internationally including searching, prosecution, opposition, removal and enforcement. Jessica has also been involved with trade mark litigation matters before the Federal Court of Australia in Melbourne and Sydney.

 

Throughout Jessica’s career, she has worked at small, medium and large firms which have exposed her to a broad range of clients from start-ups to large Australian companies, to multinationals who require management of their global trade mark portfolios. Jessica has also worked for clients across a broad range of sectors including food and beverages, books + publishing, automotive, medical devices, education, healthcare, computer software, consumer goods and apparel industries.
