As an Associate in the litigation group of Davies Collison Cave Law, Meggie practises across the full range of contentious and non-contentious intellectual property law matters.

Meggie has assisted clients of all sizes in various industries including pharmaceuticals, mining and resources, consumer goods, building materials and manufacturing and fashion, with their patent, trade mark, copyright and design matters.

The matters that Meggie has assisted on include:

  • Intellectual property litigation including patent litigation and copyright litigation;
  • Advising on trade mark matters including in relation to infringement and enforcement;
  • Advising on copyright matters including in relation to subsistence, infringement and enforcement;
  • Advising on issues relating to consumer law and confidential and commercially sensitive information;
  • Advising on regulatory issues relating to therapeutic goods.

Meggie has a particular interest in matters involving the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and life sciences sectors. Alongside her studies in law, Meggie completed a Bachelor of Science (Advanced) (Honours), majoring in pharmacology, with her honours research focussing on clinical pharmacology.

Prior to joining Davies Collison Cave Law, Meggie practised in the intellectual property team of a leading international law firm. She has also gained valuable in-house legal experience, having spent time in Singapore as part of the international privacy and data protection team of a multinational technology conglomerate.
