She is part of the chemistry/life-science group and is involved in the preparation and prosecution of patent applications.
Phei Qi graduated from the University of Oxford with a Masters in Engineering (Materials Science), where she worked on research involving semiconductors and solar cells. Her Masters thesis involved the characterisation of silicon with III-V compound semiconductors, conducted at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Prior to joining Davies Collision Cave, Phei Qi spent years as a forensic scientist, specialising in trace evidence (fibres and textiles) and material failure analysis. She has also served as an expert witness, providing testimony in court to aid in the administration of justice.
Phei Qi is currently pursuing her qualification as a Singapore patent attorney.
