Taryn also advises on disputes relating to Australian Consumer Law and common law. Having assisted in the protection and management of small, large and well know trade mark portfolios, both nationally and internationally, Taryn has extensive experience in assisting clients at all stages of development. With a business degree specialising in finance, Taryn’s education has armed her with a practical understanding of businesses and an ability to tailor advice to the needs of businesses of all sizes.
Before joining Davies Collison Cave, Taryn worked at a top tier international law firm as an Associate managing their intellectual property practice group and advising clients on brand protection and intellectual property matters on a national and international scale. Taryn spent over 2 years on a part time secondment at the organising committee for an
internationally recognised major sporting event held on the Gold Coast in 2018. During this time Taryn assisted in running the brand protection functional area, as well as providing general commercial advice to the legal functional area.
Taryn joined Davies Collison Cave in October 2017 to grow and develop the trade mark practice in the Brisbane office.
