Van holds a PhD in Chemistry and a Bachelor of Biotechnology (First class Honours) with a University Medal from the University of Queensland. Prior to joining DCC, Van worked as a post-doctoral research fellow at the University of Queensland where she developed novel organic semiconductors and functional materials for use in (opto)electronics applications. Van’s research output has resulted in multiple publications in top-ranked international peer-reviewed journals as well as patents on which she is an inventor.
