Alistair Smith of DCC recognised as Australia’s Patent Client Choice Award Winner for 2019
Davies Collison Cave (DCC) is delighted to announce that Patent Principal Alistair Smith, has been recognised as the Client Choice awards exclusive winner of the IP – Patents category for Australia.
Established in 2005 by Lexology, the Client Choice awards recognize law firms and partners around the world for client service that truly stands apart. The criteria for this recognition focuses on an ability to add real value to clients’ business above and beyond the other players in the market. Uniquely, law firm individuals can be nominated only by corporate counsel.
Alistair is the fourth Principal from DCC to receive a Client Choice award for IP, a greater number of awards than any of our competitors in the IP space, which highlights DCC’s consistent commitment to client service. Past DCC winners include Principals David Webber (IP), Nick Holmes (Trade Marks) and Stuart Green (Trade Marks).
Clients say of Alistair, “Alistair is one of the most prolific patent drafters in Australia; he is able to handle very complex issues and provide tailored solutions.” and that “Alistair has a commercial approach and always seeks to maximise his client’s rights; he ensures that the patents he drafts are aligned with the business strategy.”
